How You Can Help
Just as we hope our marriage will be supported by our friends and family, we want this wedding to be a group project as well. As we've said, it will mean so much more to us to have a personal day that is a reflection of us and our loved ones than a fancy but impersonal wedding.
Helpers Needed
Jobs Assigned
- Cake Transport from Cafe Phoenix to Cities -- Chris M.
- Singing Goober Peas at Reception -- Ben J.
Here are few of the roles we're hoping our friends and family will be able to fill:
- parking pass attendant
- food transportation
- dance/reception hosts
- master of ceremonies
- cooks (optional)
- rides to/from airport and hotels
- lodging hosts
- bartending
- people to help decorate and clean up the reception hall
Let us know if you have a special talent that you'd like to help us with. The best gift you can give will be just being there, and the second best is helping us with your time or talents or just moral support.
We're also anticipating that we'll need some loans of:
- white holiday lights to decorate the reception hall with
- dishes for the reception food (we'd prefer not to rent if we don't have to, and we don't see any reason for all of the dishes to match)
- and probably lots of other stuff we haven't thought of yet
